BiographyMartin Conroy

I was named one of America’s top real estate professionals by REAL Trends, as advertised in The Wall Street Journal. I am a member of the “The Thousand Top Real Estate Professionals,” a prestigious national awards ranking sponsored annually by the two respected publications. I am also ranked in the top one half of 1 percent of the more than 1,100,000 REALTORS® nationwide.

Originally from Bray in Berks, I have spent the last 25 years in South Florida. Having owned property in the Town of Palm Beach for 21 of those 25 years, I am well versed in the luxury residential real estate market. I have both a bachelors of science degree in Business and masters of science degree in Management. I have taken my property investment skills and intimate local knowledge and has teamed with Fite Shavell & Associates to bring ''bespoke'' real estate service.

Why did you choose to study at the University of Reading?

It was one of the best MSc degree courses in the world for Construction Management

What was the best bit about living and studying in Reading?

The research orientated nature of the course

What are your top tips for students graduating this year? What should they be doing to secure the job they want?

Work hard. Get good marks. Work during the holidays to get job experience
