Law School's 40th Anniversary 2017
2017 marks the 40th anniversary of the University of Reading Law School. To mark this important milestone, we would like to invite you to join us for an alumni drinks reception from 19.00 - 21.00 at the House of Commons, London, on Thursday 7 September 2017.

The event will provide the perfect opportunity for you to reconnect with alumni old and new, as well catching up with several colleagues from the Law School old and new. The evening will also celebrate the achievements of our alumni and the development of the Law School over the years and enable us to showcase the life and ethos of the School through the research, teaching and plans for the future.

The event is free to attend, but places are limited so make sure you register today.

We do hope that you will join us to celebrate our anniversary in one of the most iconic buildings in London, in the company of old and new friends and colleagues.

Events cancellation policy 

Cancellation of an event by the Alumni and Supporter Engagement Office

The Alumni and Supporter Engagement Office at the University of Reading reserves the right to cancel an event at its sole discretion. In the event of such a cancellation we will refund the value of the ticket sold upon proof of purchase. Any online handling fee charged by a third party cannot be refunded.

The University excludes any liability for any direct or indirect losses or damages however arising as a result of such cancellation and will not, for example, be responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred. In the event of cancellation, the University will use reasonable endeavours to alert those who have booked to attend an event or purchased tickets and details of any cancellation will be posted on the alumni website www.reading.ac.uk/alumni. Guests are responsible for checking this information prior to the event.

Cancellation by those booked to attend an event

Cancellation of attendance by individuals or groups must be given in writing and received by the Alumni and Supporter Engagement Office team via post to the following address: Alumni and Supporter Engagement Office, University of Reading, L011, London Road campus, 4 Redlands Road, Reading, RG1 5EX (to arrive with us at least 30 days before) or by email at alumni@reading.ac.uk at least 30 days prior to the event to be entitled to receive a refund. Those who fail to attend or cancel their attendance within 30 days of the event, for whatever reason, will not receive a refund. Please note there will be a 3% cancellation charge on any cancellation.

Delegate Lists

A delegate list (including name, job title, company and qualifications) may be provided to attendees either in advance of, or on the day of, certain events. If you object to your details being included in this list, please contact alumni@reading.ac.uk at least one week prior to the event date.
